Record number of Offices attend INTA 2008

The UK Intellectual Property Office (UK-IPO) is pleased to announce that it will be attending the International Trade Mark Association's (INTA) 130th Annual Meeting in Berlin from 17-21 May 2008.

The INTA Annual Meeting is the largest and most prestigious event attended by the International Trade Mark community. The UK-IPO is pleased to be joined by eleven Offices this year including Benelux, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, France, Portugal, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland and Finland.

The INTA annual meeting is the world's largest gathering of Trade Mark/Intellectual Property (IP) professionals - usually 8,000 plus, who come together to meet and cultivate clients, but also to hear and exchange views on developments in IP law.

The UK-IPO have launched an exciting, new National Offices website which will include links to "Latest News" about the event, and "national" pages telling IP professionals what's happening in the participating countries. A "What's On" section will provide a schedule for the at-the-stand "10 minute" presentations that will give up-to-date details of the products and services offered by the Offices, and information and advice on what’s happening in Trade Marks and Designs.

In order to celebrate this event, the Offices are launching a fun, easy to enter competition where you could a win the latest 32GB Ipod Touch.

To be in with a chance of winning - complete the entry card available at the National Office Stand - and return it by 16:00 on 20 May 2008. The winner will be the first correctly completed entry drawn.
